Engraved and Kiln Formed Glass
Amanda Lawrence

Amanda Lawrence is a glass artist specialising in kiln formed and engraved glass. Her striking vessels, wall pieces and sculptures are made by collaging glass elements which are fused and shaped at high temperature in the kiln. Colour and texture are added using enamels, lustres and sandblast. She also forms her own glass ‘canvases’ for engraving.

Amanda is a member of the Society of Designer Craftsmen and the Gloucestershire Guild of Craftsmen and is a Fellow of the Guild of Glass Engravers. She exhibits widely in the UK and very much enjoys taking commissions. She is available to give talks and demonstrations and teaches courses in glass engraving and fusing/slumping at various venues.
