Miniature Bears

Janis started collecting teddy bears about 25 years ago and it wasn’t long before as an enthusiastic needlewoman, she thought she would try her hand at making miniatures: less than 4’’ tall. These are made in traditional style using plush fabric with thread joints and onyx bead eyes.

Janis is pleased to undertake commissions and has in the past designed and made graduation bears, tap and disco dancing bears, guardian angels and Father Christmases to name but a few.
