Janis Waldron Jewellery

Janis trained at Hereford College of Art and Design, the Open College Network and Birmingham City University, School of Jewellery, She has a City and Guilds qualification in silver-smithing and is trained to advanced standard in pearl threading and knotting. Perhaps more important though, she has over thirty years’ experience of making silver jewellery and small-ware: spoons, thimbles, bookmarks and key-rings.

Janis particularly enjoys making decorative silver chains by hand and, with the addition of semi-precious stones and beads, making items which are unusual and desirable as well as offering good value for money. Janis also offers a professional bead threading/knotting service. Janis is also available for talks, demonstrations and tuition in bead and pearl threading and knotting an has previously run coursesfor the Jewellery and Allied Industries Training Council and WI Groups
