Dichroic glass (which means two colours), is a particular kind of glass that has the unusual property of reflecting one colour while it transmits another. This means that the different colours can be viewed by examining the glass at different angles. This unique glass is manufactured by spraying a thin film on the glass in a controlled environment in a vacuum kiln. It was invented by NASA for its reflective properties.

Dichroic glass comes in a wide range of colours, patterns and textures and is one of the most expensive types of glass.
Jeanette uses a combination of coloured glass, dichroic glass and clear glass, which are fused together at extremely high temperatures, to produce the unique items of jewellery.

Commissions are also undertaken. Contact Jeanette for further details.
